Thank Y-O-U

Hello Fellow Creatives,

Here’s a new project using Linnie Blooms fabric shapes. A mixed media thank-you note.
A handwritten/homemade thank-you note speaks volumes and sends the message that
you care enough to invest yourself personally in acknowledging another.

So, send a little joy someone’s way…

Step One: Start with a store bought BLANK greeting card. Glue a used painted
papertowel to the front with Mod Podge. Use a brayer to make it extra
smooth. Trim Excess.

Step Two: I found some leftover alphabet stickers to spell the work Thank. I chose
these letters because they matched the paper towel so well.

Step Three: Paint three Linnie Blooms canvas fabric squares with watercolors crayons
using the same color palette.

Step Four: Stamp the letters Y-O-U using rubber stamp letters and brown ink.

Step Five: Sew around each square shape twice using a sewing machine and dark
brown thread. Glue in place.

Step Six: Write your thank you inside, address, add postage, mail, and make
someone’s day a little brighter.

Happy Creating!
XO, Cheryl
